All I can say is wow! Though the prices are a bit higher than what I'd normally like, all the portions of everyone's food... definitely made the price worth it. Bartenders and servers are friendly and funny. It can get busy here at times and the waitgets long, but rest assured the food is worth it. Read more
Honestly the best bone in wings money can buy. I am a tough food critic with an expensive taste? They don?t get better than this... I can guarantee that. Highly recommend the Gochujan sauce, it?s a mild sweet and spicy sauce with almost a Korean taste. I won?tbe wasting money anywhere else on wings unless I?m smoking myself. Just absolutely amazing! The food was so good, the atmosphere is awesome and for likely being short staffed like everywhere... else, the workers were nice and on point. We were greeted and we got there at a good time that we were able to get a table rightaway and we had our orders taken quick! We got out drinks and food timely! The Shop Bar & BBQ Grille is an apt description of this place. That's because it's more of a bar that serves BBQ than it is a... restaurant. Don't get me wrong, it's cool that an auto repair place or whatever is doing a local dining spot above theirgarage. It does have a slight fledgling feel though. The space is directly up a lengthy flight of stairs, but the owner saidthey will be opening the ground floor space soon. It's a somewhat non descriptive bar area up there, but it's open and roomyenough. We didn't know that they shut down from 3:00 to 4:00 to prep for dinner service. Anyway, we stayed for a beer until4:00. The service went well after that, and our food arrived in a timely fashion. I had the pulled pork sandwich and while ithad good BBQ flavor, it read a little bit dry. My dad, however, loved the smoked wings. He ordered them naked with sauce onthe side. They were crispy on the outside with good smokiness within. He didn't even use his side sauce because of thebuilt-in flavor. We also had curds and they had a lovely thin beer batter coating. We will definitely be back again and hopethey continue to up their game. Their wing game is already strong. Fly and fry bros... The service on our second visit waseven better because we arrived after 4:00. My dad loved the naked wings again, and I really enjoyed the BBQ brisket sandwich.
