Man, great food! This is definitely a hidden gem if you're from out of town. The parking lot was pretty full yet the wait was a... reasonable amount. The restaurant is clean and nice inside. The food is so good! We took a party of six so we had several dishesand all of them were great. In particular there was some mustard and cranberry pork chop that was incredible. This restaurantis highly recommended. Read more

Amazing place. Only been there a handful of times as it is a special occasion because it is expensive. However, it is well worth... it. Main course meals are very good but the deserts are top notch. I shared a special red velvet cake because it was huge. Best Red Velvet cake I have ever had. If your ever in the mood for some high quality food, Cafe Alley is the way to go. Read more

Wow, what a nice surprise! After a week of average food on the road this place was such a treat. We started with the trout dip as... our appetizer and it was wonderful with those little firecrackers. I ordered the Short Smoked Salmon and it was the best I'vehad in a long time! I would give 5 stars but my husband's London Broil was dry and disappointing. Service was excellent, ambiance great and everything was clean! We will eat here any time we are close. Read more

The place is absolutely wonderful & I love eating here. It's clean with open ceilings & has a country farmhouse chic vibe... . Food is made from the freshest ingredients & defiantly a higher quality than most these days I've eaten here many time & I'venever been disappointed. That is if they haven't sold out of their famous carrot cake because that to me would be a hugedisappointment. The chicken fried steak is delightful. The spin is the jalapeno gravy. Not to hot it has just enough zing tocarry it over the top. I get the the baby red mashed potatoes plus the alley side salad. Actually all of their salads arealways fresh. Then combined with the homemade blue cheese dressing, it's win for me. Don't forget to order the small pan ofcornbread. Tastes better than granny's which is saying a lot. Yum! I usually get the fried green beans as a starter because ofthe sauce that gives it a little something extra. But the homemade hot pimento cheese or smoked trout dips are fantastic aswell. The waffle cut sweet potatoes are good too. They have other desserts but for me none shine as bright as their decadentcarrot cake. Which I might add is big enough for 2 to eat. I call it a mountain of sin on a plate & yes it has lots of calories. So I recommend sharing or taking one half of it home to have with your next mornings coffee. All portions are bigger thanusual so the cost is defiantly worth it. Many of their items are big enough to share. Which with my crew we do often. Lastly the"Bloody Mary" is to die for. I'm usually a frozen margarita girl but not here. Enjoy! Read more
