A charming little cafe tucked away in an unassuming corner of Arlington, VA. The atmosphere on the Sunday I stopped by was... indeed chill. Pictured is their cold Viet Coffee and Basil Fried Rice. I am not as familiar with Vietnamese food as I am Thaiand Japanese, but the stuff I got was very good and conveniently packed to-go so that I can head out without having to botherthe staff to get a box. Cozy, clean rooms feel natural and calming. The staff was friendly, and very busy with to-go orders - in a good way! Our food... took a very long time to arrive. They could have brought out the Spring rolls app first, but our meal came all courses atonce. My friend was delighted by the Papaya Salad. I tried the Ramen in chicken broth. It arrived 'deconstructed', which Iliked. But the toppings did not match the menu. I asked him to leave out the pork (they did) but added ground beef! It was greyand unwelcome. I told the guy and he just said "ok" and walked away. I asked for a spoon to scoop it out on my tray, where itsat while I ate my soup. The shrimp + broth were tasty, but the noodles were not. The cutest little cafe that my coworker and I came across. We loved spending our afternoon here and getting some work done. The... staff is really friendly and they have plenty of food and drink options. We didn't have any issues finding parking. For myfirst drink, I got the Caramel Cinnamon Latte and I later got the Autumn Rose Latte. I love both. They were not overly sweetalthough I do wish that the flavors were a little stronger. They brought the drinks out to where we were sitting. My friend andI split the Bot Chion (Pan-fried Rice Cake) and it was so delicious! The Rice Cakes were so crispy and the eggs had so muchflavor. We loved it with the vinegar soy sauce and sriracha. For lunch, I ended up getting the Vietnamese Ramen and it was agood sized portion with plenty of toppings. It was so good and everything comes in a to go container so you can just pack it upand take it with you when you go. I'm definitely coming back! It's the cutest place and I love all the decor.
