I dropped by this restaurant for the first time today, at the recommendation from my girlfriend who has eaten here on a number... of occasions. When I first walked in, the place seemed very quiet, and there was only one other customer who was patientlywaiting for his order. That being said. I was able to place my order pretty quickly. There see!Ed to be only a single employeeworking behind the counter, and serving as the dumpling chef at the same time. I ordered the Shanghai shumai platter, and it'sthe same dish the my girlfriend has always ordered. With this platter they offer three choices for the protein portion. Pork,chicken, and tofu. I went with what I knew would be safe. The chicken. There are actually ten separate dumplings included withthe order. The dumplings also have mixed vegetables, and brown rice mixed in with the chicken. Now I am patiently waiting forthe chef to prepare the food, and me and my stomach have great anticipation! Original 3 star review: Staff have no masks, no gloves while preparing food, and running the cash register. Makes me feel a... little unsafe accepting their food. Dumplings are great.
