Have not had such good food in so long! This quiet quaint restaurant has the warmth and spice your summer night is yearning for!... We went with friends of ours and enjoyed every meal we ordered. I wish I took a photo because everything looked so classy and... vibrant when it came out! Great food but never going back. We arrived at 8:15, ordered food and by 9:00pm were told the restaurant was closed and we had... to leave. We asked to see the owner (who warmly greeted us when we arrived) but she was gone. The poor wait staff who had to askus to leave explained they were not getting paid after 9:00pm (which I?m pretty sure is illegal if they still have to work). Thefood is good but the fact that they asked us to leave at 9:00pm and the fact that the owner treats her staff so poorly willimpact our reviews and the reason we will never eat there again. Such a shame the owner doesn?t know the basics of good customerservice and employee treatment. Funny when we asked why she no longer had outside seating she said she didn?t have enough staff.She might want to ask herself why that is. Read more
I have been to this wonderful authentic Indian bistro barbecue with large groups on several occasions and they always exceed our... expectations. The staff is friendly and always greets you with a smile. Plenty of labeled vegan options on the menu. Today'sorder was papadams, root fritters, lasdoni Gobi and bindhi bhuna. The restaurant was fairly empty on this Sunday lunch. Indianmusic was playing at a volume that was fairly loud, but not overpowering. The staff was very attentive, as always. The papadamscame after 5 minutes. They were rich in flavor, but not too filling with mild spice. Excellent for sharing. The root fritterscame after 12 minutes and had a hearty flavor with a crispy exterior and a warm soft filling. However, this dish should beenjoyed with no more than 2-3 as the portion is not very large. The lassoni gobi was served after 16 minutes. This may be thebest starter today. I don't think I have enjoyed cauliflower more in any other form. The entrees were served together after 28minutes. The bindhi bhuna was served with garlic naan and was to die for. My one wish would be that they add a vegan mangolassi to the menu. If you find yourself in Armonk with a craving for a delicious Indian meal, I highly recommend Indi-Q. Read more
