Good but overhyped. This place was raved about on every video and article we read about where to have dessert near Okoboji and... it was a cute little place right on the pier with a great location and really friendly staff but we got the traditional nuttybars and it was just frozen ice cream on a stick covered in chocolate nothing to write home about and they do have some uniquefloats and flavors but very underwhelming for how much hype was about it Read more
The Nutty Bar stand is an Okoboji must. What is a Nutty Bar? It's a block of vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate, and rolled... in nuts. It's a challenge to see if you can finish eating it before it melts on a hot summer day. They also run specials andright now the Nutty Bar is rolled in crushed Butterfinger! I'm hoping it becomes a new permanent item on the menu! My otherlove is Root beer floats and theirs are the best. Get it in a to-go cup and walk next to the lake while enjoying the perfectsummer treat! Read more
