I had lunch on a cold Sunday here and let me tell you this exceeded my expectations. The staff is extremely attentive, and even... surprised us with an appetizer - fried mozzarella with fresh sauce on the side (must try.) You also need to get the smokedwings, they are so tasty. They have the best pizza on the shore. If you are anywhere near asbury park do yourself a favor and get to the galley. Everyone... there is super friendly and helpful. The menu is full of options and amazingly fresh ingredients. I have yet to have a badexperience here. I?ve been going to them since their old location in Wanamassa. The only square pizza to consider. The food was stellar as always. The Cauliflower Buffalo app was out of this world!! Rocky Rabe pie was a whole new level. We had... a large party of over 15 and the crew took such amazing care of us keeping the food coming and all our entrees arrived together.I know it wasn?t an easy undertaking on a busy Saturday but hats off to the crew of The Galley. The problem I have now is I live 40 minutes from The Galley! The meal was some of the best food we have had in a long time. I... don't think my kids are gonna settle for any other pizza ever again. Amazing meal.. Will be back very soon. Food was on timeand staff was on point. Read more

UPDATE: The owner stalked me about this review by texting a friend of mine he knows. Terribly run and bad service, same recipe... as Luigi's on sunset ave so just go there instead. After a take out order they called me multiple times saying my card didn't gothrough even though they payment clearly was on my card statement, and they expected me to go out of my way to come show them mycredit card statement because of their system error. Next time I ordered early in the morning for a 6PM pickup and still have towait 30 min and the owner yells at me across the dining room for calmly asking about my order. They take more online orders thanthey can handle in a given time slot. The owner's response below is a perfect example of the terrible service and attitude youcan expect...scroll down, all his responses to bad reviews are just as bad.
