It's the best kept secret of Rhode Island !!!! Seriously delicious Fresh seafood cooked to perfection and french fries like you... have never had them in addition to the hush puppies which I wanted a dish of fresh warm honey to dip in they were so incrediblydelicious and crunchy on the outside and butter melting soft inside!! Stopped for a quick lunch and I was the only person there. Service was good, food was good. I had the special, scallop roll, ... French fries, and chowder. Scallops cooked very well, fries are good, chowder was good and seemed homemade. All in all, verygood stop. Read more
A little pricey for a counter serve truck so I almost left a 4 star but I couldn?t bring down their 4.9 because their food is... incredible! Fried fish: Batter/breading was light but perfectly crisp from the first bite to the last. You could tell the fishwas just caught and could not have been cooked better. I thought about this a bit and this is the best fried fish I have everhad. Fries: nothing special about the fries but they were hot and freshly fried. A seasoned salt or something would have madethem more memorable. Tarter Sauce: uniquely flavorful with some herb/spice I couldn?t place but was delicious. Excellent dipfor the fish. Hush puppies: Born in North Carolina so I have had many many hush puppies. Color me SHOCKED when the best ones Ihave ever had were at a truck near a warehouse in New England. The interior was fluffy, moist, and surprisingly light which istough to do with hush puppies. Wonderful sweetness and again a perfectly crisp. The shrimp I got was fresh and excellent. Every bite was worth it. My 4 year old loved his fish and chips. The kids meals are... plentiful. The coleslaw here is good too. They take credit cards and the man and woman working the truck were really lovelyfriendly people. I will definitely be bringing friends and family here some time. Read more
