I used to visit this restaurant every Tuesday morning, but today will be the last visit I'll be making to this restaurant. My... mother who was with me had an issue with her food and explained to the waitress that the country ham sandwich was terrible andasked if she could get it removed from the order because it was so bad she didn't eat any of it. The waitress removed it beforecheckout from the order. I was paying for the whole ticket and my mother left the restaurant to go outside and wait in the car.When I got to checkout the manager started asking me questions about what was wrong with the sandwich and I explained Idkbecause I didn't order or taste the sandwich. She kept on asking questions and saying it was because she needed to know to helpher business. I eventually got frustrated and told her I'll pay for it so she would stop making it a big deal because it reallywasn't a big deal. She continued asking questions even after I told her to place it back on the ticket so I had to tell her Iwas in a hurry to get her to stop making the situation worse. It was very unprofessional for the manager to bother a payingcustomer who doesn't know anything about the sandwich and it has nothing to do with the money. I don't like how the managerhandled the situation in such an unprofessional way so I won't be returning. You lost a customer over a $3 sandwich because youwere very unprofessional. I didn't mind paying for it had it been made clear that they couldn't remove it or some professionalmanner. It's not about the money I expect more from management I don't expect it to be perfect, but I expect a simple situationto stay simple not become a big deal. Read more
I've only had the cafeteria style food from here and well, it is mostly bland. But if I add salt, it is better. But now, the... staff! Every single one was so very nice and helpful! They are the reason we come back at least once a week. Read more
This BY FAR ,HANDS DOWN IS THE BEST FOOD IN ASHEBORO NC,in my opinion.The country style steak is juicy tender and seasoned... perfectly with the gravy.I could eat that plate every single day.Please go try it if you haven't.Will not be disappointed.Staffare very down to earth friendly to.Worth every penny .
