This is the kind of place that makes me excited to run through the menu. I take a methodical approach, repeating the same item... several times until I feel I have sufficiently understood the nature of the offering. The buffalo chicken sandwich is one ofthose flavor islands you don't mind being washed up on. The care and skill in preparation is evident even before the first bite.The sauce is a respectful homage to Crystal that all fans of this most delicious hot sauce will enjoy. Once settled in to thesandwich the freshness of ingredients immediately stands to the front. Lettuce is green and flavorful and tomatoes are red andtaste like they were picked out of the backyard garden. Smile-inducing dilly pickles have a fresh flavor and crunch that setsthe sandwich apart. Housemade chips are not to be underestimated. These are perfectly browned to perfection and taste like apotato should. The crunch is as loud as the flavor. I ordered some ranch to dip them in and am convinced this is one of the mostdelicious house ranches I have ever tried. It's thick, but just right and tastes farmhouse fresh with a pop of flavor. Ever since we read about the award winning chicken sandwiches, we could not resist. My partner loves the classic fried chicken... sandwich and I prefer the buffalo fried chicken. They are both very good. I like to order a pint of their homemade pickles. Sogood. Their sides are great as well, pasta salad for my partner, potato salad for me. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the classic fried chicken sandwich with a side of buffalo sauce so I could try it with and without sauce. Excellent... both ways and the bun is quality. The buffalo sauce was awesome?I?m thinking they make it, but not sure. My side was tomatobasil salad which is fresh and you get sad eating the last tomato. Pickles are excellent. Slightly sweet , but not too much.Great balance of vinegar and salt. Ordered extra for my ride home. Will definitely go back when traveling through Asheville.What a great find. Read more

We had a great experience. A bit of a wait, but for a Saturday afternoon we expected as much. They even had a gluten free bread... option (they sometimes run out though. So maybe call ahead). The LOVE burger was amazing. Would definitely return. Also lovegetting the 32 oz soda for 99 cents at the gas station it shares space with haha. Overall, lives up to the hype. Note: not alot of seating area. They also ran out of potato salad. But nothing the great food didn?t make up for. Read more
