The food was very good. My husband had the lobster roll which he enjoyed. I had the shrimp and grits which was delicious and we... shared the stuffed mushrooms. We were happy we chose to dine here during our visit to Asheville. Read more

It started out well with the steamed shrimp and cornbread appetizers, though they were out of the baguette that we really... wanted. Both were good, so we were excited for the main course. My wife wanted the trout, which they were also out of, so sheswitched gears and substituted the scallops. She received four tiny scallops, which were overdone. I got the surf and turf. Asyou can see from the pictures comparing the lobster I received with my son’s, my lobster was woefully overdone. At the sametime, my fingerling potatoes were still hard because they were underdone. The steak was good, not great. Neither my or myson’s lobsters had much taste at all. Throw in that my wife’s glass of wine was served with two fruit flies in it (pictureattached with fruit fly pulled from her glass and placed on a bowl). This was, without question, the worst $270 dinner we’veever had. Will not be back. Two stars only because of the appetizers. We ate the main course as it wasn’t completely putrid, but was all down hill from the apps. Read more

Excellent restaurant atmosphere. It was elegant yet laid back. Staff was great, very hard working and great service. The... restaurant is downtown so be prepared to pay for parking or walk a distance if you can't park in the paid lot across the street. The food let me down a bit. Whike it looked delicious, it was actually flavorless. Very little seasonings, which made everythingtaste bland. I would still recommend it just for the atmosphere. Read more

Lobster stuffed mushrooms were good but mushrooms were a little small. The lobster roll was ok. The lobster was fresh but the... roll was too big. The best dish was the seafood cioppino. It had a nice smoky flavor that was savory and delicious. Wait staffwas good. Live music was nice but loud. 3.5 star meal Read more

Service was great! The salmon, lobster Mac and Cheese, and spinach crab oysters were delicious! Definitely recommend all... three! Do not waste your money on the cornbread. Also, make sure you order anything but chips as a side with the kids meal. Ithink they actually counted how many chips they put as my daughters side with her hot dog. *The gentleman who clears the tablesthroughout the meal was definitely on top of it! He never let any empty plates sit on our table long.* Read more
