Had a great dinner at Vinnie's tonight. The lobster ravioli was excellent. For an appetizer had to steamed muscles in a spicy... red sauce they were also very good. Prices were reasonable the portions were decent size we have to feeling very satisfied. Read more
First time visiting. Meatball appetizer was delicious but they were just warm and sauce was room temperature. Staff did adjust... for them. Main course was okay. If you like a sweeter sauce this is not the place. Ambiance was great and server was excellent. Read more
Dined at Vinnie's Neighborhood Italian in Ashville, NC at the Hendersonville Road location. I sat at the bar and Dalton got me... set up with a beer, water, and warm bread while I looked over the menu. I started with the appetizer Arancini?something I hadnever seen before. For dinner went with the Spaghetti with Sunday Gravy and added a side Greek salad. If you ever see Arancinion a menu?give it a try. Basically you take Risotto, form it into a ball, stuff it with mozzarella, roll it in breadcrumbs anddeep fry it. This was absolutely delicious and the crunchy flavor of the fried shell really made the soft inside a greatcombination. When you dip them into the smoky, creamy tomato sauce?magnifico!!! The salad was very fresh with crispy greens anda light Greek vinaigrette. The Spaghetti with Sunday Gravy would have made Aunt Stella proud. The sweet sausage had a slight bitof heat and the meatballs were a nice blend of pork & beef, while the sauce had a ton of fresh tomato flavor, a slightsweetness, and clung to the pasta with ease. Great atmosphere and great staff. The food was excellent! The spaghetti carbonara was awesome and the lasagna was just as good.... To bad I won't be coming back anytime soon as I was traveling from Chicago. If I do come back I will be sure to stop in againfor dinner. Read more

Staff and ambience are great here. Staff is friendly And helpful. It looks like an old Italian restaurant. Very cool... looking. Food was okay. It looked great and we all ate. Also note that I could be a tough judge since my family and I areused to homemade Italian from the restaurant we all worked in 25+ years. So with that, I did not feel it was homemade and soif it is a store bought items type restaurant, it was good. Read more
