First let me start off by saying I am from the south and we know good BBQ, but this place blew my mind. This was the best BBQ we... had ever had. My husband and I ordered the combo for 2 and my goodness it?s enough for 4 people so we have lunch for tomorrowand then some. The brisket was so tender it just fell apart and the ribs are to die for, I mean to die for. The seasoning was sogood and the meat just fell off the bone. For our sides we got coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans. All of them were verygood but the baked beans were amazing!!!!!!! The sweet tea was awesome. The Bloody Mary looked amazing so I had to try one, butit was just okay. On the table they provided BBQ sauces, mustard based, sweet and a spicy one. All were delicious. We?re OTR truckers and delighted to have found Parker?s Smokehouse. Felt welcome as soon as we opened the front door. Our... server, Jessica, was extremely attentive, kind and friendly. The manager, Scott, was very welcoming, generous and professional.The food was excellent! The legendary chili was very tasty, the ribs were super tender, the pulled pork was moist and flavorful.We ordered a slice of carrot cake to go but took a peek and a nibble of it and it?s one of the best we?ve tasted in a longtime?spicy (like spice cake) and moist! One of the most amazing places.. Drinks are awesome.. and the fried entities are out of this world!!
The catfish appetizer is the best I've ever had. It's super crunchy and flavorful. The sauce is even great! We ordered half of... the platter for myself and husband. It included brisket, ribs, chicken, slaw, beans, cinnamon apples and corn muffins. Thebrisket and slaw were just ok, not flavorful. The ribs were good, beans and corn muffins and apples. Would definitely come back.Plenty of food for future meals. The star for me was the catfish and corn muffins. Definitely good food! Read more

Parker's is one of those longtime restaurant go-to's on the highway outside of Ashland, Nebraska. Casual with bar, good variety... of smoked brisket, ribs and chicken along with hamburgers. We enjoy that they continue the steakhouse tradition of the teacandle light on each table. Friday- Saturday smoked prime rib in addition to their regular prime rib. The smoke in the prime ribwas mild, meat cooked rare as requested. The romano potatoes with melted cheese delicious as were my companions sweet potatofries. BE SURE to experience their sweet cornbread muffins that come with your order-who needs dessert! It's waiting areafurniture needs some care but we went for the food and the ambiance of an era when steakhouses were king. Read more
