Decent price for a Mountain lodge getaway. We have stayed in the lodge and cabins about 6 years ago and it was nice. This time... we stayed in the Lodge. We heard what we thought might be the water heater, it woke us up several times. Our neighbors were upat 5:30am making a racket in their room and up and down the straps packing up to leave(not the fault of the owners of course).Not exactly what we hoped for on our 32nd anniversary! We understand why there is a $25 cleaning fee, but when I leaned underthe bed to try to plug in my phone, I found an old take out box with nasty left over food in it. (Privacy and Safety): Let me start by saying we love Greensprings. We have been coming for years and have loved every trip. This... time, however, we noticed a drone flying over the cabins. I didn't think much of it the first time, thinking maybe it was for apromotion or ad they were making, but the second and third times I saw it fly by, I started to feel uneasy. The final straw waswhile enjoying the outdoor tub, in the dark of the night, I again noticed the drone's flashing lights! It was pretty obviousthen what kind of footage they were after. Once turning off the water and jets (which are noisy) it flew away. I immediatelycalled the 877 number for Book Stay Hop but was told there was nothing they could really do about this serious situation. Thisis a considerable safety and privacy concern and I will honestly have to reconsider if we continue to stay here each year! Read more

We loved our stay in the lodge (Room #5), the rooms are adorable, bed was super comfortable, we ate at the on-site restaurant a... few times & the food,service, & homemade pie were top notch! Hey beautiful setting with cabins clean and cozy the food and large portions the staff extremely friendly and kind always very... helpful and neighborly. Lovely high mountain views peaceful and Serene sadly the lake is a little bit dry right now but littleHyatt just minutes away is full.
