Service was great. But...1/2 of the menu items are unavailable and their "open" hours are apparently based on when they can get... the ONE employee to agree to come in! But I'm glad she was there! She gets the 1 star. The owner needs to UP THEIR GAME. Read more

Working in town Dairy Barn was a frequent stop for me. Since the new owners have taken over though things have sadly declined,... and rapidly at that. Today I went in to pick up a Togo order for the first time in a month or so, when I walked in I was greetedwith every type of flying insect it seemed like (bees, sweat bees, flies). I was willing to look past it even though there wereno prevention measures (both doors open, both service windows leading to the kitchen left open) to keep the bugs out of food andice cream. My order was very simple, a full order of biscuits and gravy, Bosco sticks and a large peanut butter milkshake. I wastold 30 minutes, waited 45 total, which is not horrible but very different from the 15 minute pick up we?re used to(as I saidworking in town it?s great to grab and get back to work) I was more upset to see they had cut the portion of the biscuits andgravy to one biscuit(if it could be called that, it was more cracker consistency at this point, even sitting in a mess offlavorless water gravy.) after being handed my food he stated they were out of peanut butter for the shake, I said that?s fineand substituted coffee flavor. I got an Oreo milkshake. At this point I just kind of gave up. They shut the doors right after Ileft and said they needed to close early due to being out of everything on the menu. I don?t like to be negative, especiallytowards new businesses/small business in the community but this is one place i will not be supporting for the time being untilsome new measures are put in. We use to love this place it was owned by the same people for years and here in town it was a great country ice cream and food... place with great service. But recently new owners took over and it has lost that hometown feel now the new owners have norespect and treat and talk to children very rude my boys experienced this first hand they was treated so bad by the new ownersthe lady in behind my children spoke up in defense of my boys I did go in and say something about how they treated my boys also.If they want this place to stay open they need to treat people with respect and not change the menu were use to in this verysmall town. Delicious food. Got their double patty burger. Puts most signature burger joints to shame. 3 of us ate there, was about $10 per... person. Burger, fries, drink. I'd go back again and again. Nothing but the highest of praises Read more
