Comfortable, owner is very polite, nice wine selection, food was good. Update, several years later- I was pleasantly surprised... to see Fitzgeralds, not only open, but thriving. I’ve seen a lot of businesses in the harbor fail, and it’s always sad tosee. When I first came here, they had just opened, and it was nice then, but it’s down right amazing now. I love theirupstairs bar area, and the huge selection of wines. The staff was very polite, and the prices were reasonable. This would be agreat place for a date night with a significant other. 10/10, especially for Ashtabula county, of all places. Read more
I have been to this amazing restaurant on two occasions. My engagement party, and my 50th birthday party! As an out of towner,... I was beyond impressed! Debra was wonderful to set up everything for my birthday party. The food was perfectly done and tastedAMAZING! I would dine here very often if I lived here. Fitzgerald's is probably the most upscale restaurant in the Ashtabula harbor. All of their food is made from scratch so you can... expect that your time in the restaurant will be a little longer; however, it'll be well worth it. They have one of the mostunusual things I've ever seen a meatball salad. It is a wonderful salad with two very large meatballs that are probably the bestmeatballs I have ever had at a restaurant. Fitzgerald’s is a dining experience well worth the drive. The atmosphere is big city, and yet small town at the same time. ... Everyone in our party of four left rating this place a five. The food is savory to the last bite delicious! Fresh 100% andserved individually as it comes out of the kitchen, this is not fast food and the pause in between courses and dishes is wellworth it.
