This place definitely warrants a try. If I had focused on the negative reviews I would?ve missed out. Serrika helped me satisfy... my Cajun craving by suggesting the Cajun Chicken Pasta with the addition of Shrimp was sublime choice. This place definitelypunches its weight class for a Bar/Grill . Y?all need to ignore the negative reviews and go try this place out! Absolutely DELICIOUS! This is my second time ordering here... and I?ve loved everything I?ve tried! This time I ordered the cheese sticks and cajun burger with onion rings, all of whichtasted amazing. If I had listened to the reviews, which I never do, I would have missed a really good meal and decent drinks. I ordered the... chicken fried steak and it was so big I couldn't even finish it. Not only was it big but it was good. I was hesitant just basedon the overwhelming lackluster and even cruel reviews. But having worked in the food and beverage industry for over 30 yrs. I amwilling to overlook the critiques of all the would be food critics and form my opinions about places. There's was no one therewhen I walked in the restaurant. The young man behind the bar greeted us and was very friendly we ordered our food and drinksand they came relatively quickly. It appeared that he was by himself and a cook. I will definitely be returning. The gumbo wasdamn good. Don't listen to these ppl go for yourself. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food, as well. Read more
I owned a Cajun restaurant myself in El Paso, Texas and plan to open food trucks here in Houston..I?m from Alexandria, Louisiana... and I?ve checked out several Cajun spots to see if other locations know what they are doing when they slap the word ?Cajun? intheir food description. I tried the blackened catfish shrimp etouffee bc I am a pescatarian..and I must say it was delicious.The fried pickles were also great. Both were so good, I ordered again today but takeout this time:) The crawfish was not Cajunstyle but were spicy, make my lips burn spicy. The staff was amazing. From experience for this place to continue growing, cleantables after ever quest should be mandatory, it?s the first thing we look at when we walk in. Far as all the games andactivities, it gives it a great vibe. Kids friendly. Pick up the advertising. I only heard about this place by word of mouth andthey were recommending no one waste their time. I should see ads on Instagram, fb..videos of the food works better thanpictures. With the young staff and it not being currently swamped with ppl Mayb they could drop a post or two on social media.Looking forward to seeing the continued growth. Very cool place! Our server Amber was such a delightful friendly energetic spirit! My husband and I went just for a few... appetizers and drinks.They had dart games and several other games to explore! They also had flat screens all around the place soyou could watch your favorite sports in real time! Overall the food was great! The service was awesome! And definitely a cooldate night spot!
