This is hands down the BEST brewery in Athens. I?ve been dining here since they opened in 2017 and have never had a bad... experience. The staff is always great and the owner, Matt is always friendly and personable. The hours of operation, quality,diversity, and consistency of the beer here blows every other brewery in the area out of the water. There really is nocomparison. Read more
Great brews, great food, wonderful service, nice atmosphere! Though I think that sums it up I will provide some details. Came... in on a Tuesday lunch. We were seated immediately. Everything was clean and shiny! Our waitress Madison was excellent andattentive. Super friendly but gave us space! Lots of beer choices and they do offer the option to taste the differentvarieties. I also saw someone trying a flight of beers. A great idea. The food was hot and excellent. They were out of fish andchips, but the burgers were wonderful. It's a nice venue, with ample seating indoors and an outdoor patio. The bar is huge andlooks shiny and high-tech. As does the brewery! Bathrooms were clean. This is a hidden gem and is a great place to share withvisitors that want a high quality unique experience. There is plenty of parking. This place is kind of hidden. The landmarkfor your turn is the old gray bus with their logo on it. And there's plenty of parking. Highly recommend it for casual drinks,an interesting conversational date night, or a good meal. This was my first time visiting the area, and before leaving, I wanted to try one last local favorite. I?m glad my host/date... suggested Akademia for brunch! Although there was a wait, we were quickly able to find a few seats at the outdoor bar. Theweather was absolutely beautiful which made our seating choice even better. We were even able to see many of the cars includedin the car show that was being held in the parking lot! We both ordered the Tripleta Home Fries. For our beverage choices, headded the IQ and I had the Imperial O-Negative. Neither of us were disappointed. Our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner,and our server was very kind and attentive. Definitely my favorite brewery anywhere in the Athens area and one of my favorites in the state! The craft beer here continues... to get better every time I try a new one from them. This is a brewery, but they also have a full bar and great food menu!Awesome place. Read more
