Staff is extremely nice and eager to please, but that does not cancel all the negatives about this place. -Most, possibly all... the unit doors face the outside which means you can easily hear, people speaking, unit and car doors slamming and car enginesstarting up. As soon as you open your door, you?re immediately hit with the elements of weather; rain, snow, etc. My unit was asimple 2-Queen size with a small bathroom that showcased a glass wall shower. Pretty, but not practical. -There were plenty ofwash, hand and body towels, but I literally had to use all but one to keep the bathroom floor dry; the glass wall was useless. Unless you pointed the shower head towards the wall, the floor in front of the toilet gets completely soaked. Bad design. Thebathroom is not big enough for two people or even the toiletries for two: single sink, no hooks inside the shower, meaningthere?s no place to hang a wash cloth or shower puff, the sink, toilet and shower are all next to each other, inches apart, soforget about one person using the toilet in privacy while the other person showers or brushes their teeth. -The room have wallunit air conditioners; I found this to scream ?cheap,? especially since the room stayed warm and extremely muggy, the damn thingkept shutting off (it was in efficiency mode), yet still didn?t keep the room cool in it?s regular mode; this was veryuncomfortable! -The fridge was one of the smallest I?ve ever seen in a hotel and it was on its last leg. No freezer and theinside of the fridge was not cold at all, not even close! -The beds (2-queens) were nicely dressed and were firm, no worn outspots or lumpiness. They were very comfortable and came with plenty of pillows, useful and decorative. -There were A LOT ofstudents staying at the hotel. 1. The lobby serves as a ?study space,? yes, I repeat, students were in the lobby studying andnot just 1 or 2, more like, 5 and 6. The fact that the lobby serves as a study space, in combination wi Read more

Hotel lobby is far from actual hotel rooms, Hotel itself looks very run down like a cheap motel but I guess that?s the... aesthetic. Main issue is check in is at 3pm but they said that our hotel rooms wouldn?t be ready till 4pm. After waiting hoursin the hotel lobby we got 1 of our 4 rooms at 7pm. We came back after eating dinner and eventually got the rest of the hotelrooms at almost 10pm, and still had to check out at 11am the next day. Would not recommend. Read more

The staff is the best part of this place. They?re all super friendly and will help you with anything that they can. The cleaning... staff are awesome and the front desk looks really cool and the staff there are top level also. That?s the reason this isn?t agood star rating. With that said, this is not a hotel. It?s a renovated motel. All the front doors of all the rooms face theparking lot. Traffic wise, it?s in an awkward location. There are no microwaves in the rooms (you?ll have to get a suite) and ifyou want to heat your food, you have to walk all the way to the lobby and the staff has to microwave it for you. Sinceeverything is outdoors, you may have to drive to heat your food depending on the weather and how far you are from the frontdesk. The fridges are small and mine said on the outside that it?s not for perishable items (so what?s the point?). Read more

Beautiful rooms and grounds. Got to my hotel room late at night to pull sheets down and see ants everywhere (and a cockroach).... Front desk was very fast and helpful in moving me to the Grand suite in the Hoyt house since it was the only room left. Then, Iwoke up to a spider hanging from the ceiling right over my bed. Good customer service but will not return unless bug issuefixed. Read more

The best thing about The Graduate is their marketing. Their online presentation is far more spectacular than the actual hotel.... First the positives: The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel felt safe, the rooms were clean and the decorations had agood vibe. The beds were super comfortable. The negatives: I found locating the lobby confusing. It?s the long brick buildingwhen you enter the parking lot. Like many other reviewers have complained, the rooms are very musty. You do become nose blindquickly but could be an issue for people with allergies. The hotel advertises itself as hip but other than the room decor thereis nothing of real interest at the hotel itself. The worst part is it feels like a money trap. You must pay $10 additional forparking, if you use their internet it crawls unless you pay an additional fee. The bottled waters in your room will cost you $5per bottle. Breakfast is cheaper at any of the restaurants within walking distance. Read more
