Good lunch spot in downtown Athens. A nice variety of cold and hot sandwiches, made to order, with chips and drink at reasonable... prices. Ice cream in cup or cone--softserve and by the scoop. Service can be pretty slow if they get crowded (which they usuallyare at lunch time) but the environment is relaxing so order and relax while you wait. If dining in, they'll even bring it toyour table! Picky's Recommendation: definitely worth a stop if passing thru town. Only 7 minutes off I-75 and hands down betterthan any fast food restaurant you'll find just off the highway. Read more
We walked in at 12:30 on a Saturday. We have eaten there before and really enjoyed the burger, however they no longer have the... burger on the menu. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. next time we are in Athens we will stop for ice cream forsure. The decor was welcoming and location and parking were both excellent. Read more
I usually love the chicken salad when I go there. It seems like since the management has changed though, the chicken salad just... doesn't taste the same. I don't know if they changed the recipe or not, but it just wasn't as good as it used to be. And thepasta salad I got was super dry. Just really disappointed in something I was craving so much.
