Not getting the hype of this place. Brisket was dry and I believe the menu is stating it?s being smoked for 23 hours? I doubt... it. Had to wait for a long time to get extra bbq sauce as they only give you a small cup with the plate (new waiter I guess).Anyway, was told it?s the place in Athens to check out. Will try to come back another time for something else on the menu andpossibly revisit my review. Read more

We were heading south from Knoxville and saw your sign. Decided to stop in for a quick supper. So glad we did! Friendly... greeting when we entered. Friendly waiter. Sorry to say we only got the nachos, but they were great! The pork was tenderand we loved the bbq sauce. Next time we will get a plate. Read more

This was the 2nd time for our patronage at this establishment and it was seriously disappointing. We had a to go order and soup... was part of that, but because it was packed poorly, it leaked and broke open in our vehicle which we had to go in and and askfor a replacement and that was pretty inconvenient. When we arrived home and were unpacking our entrees, my husband's foodwasn't even made correctly. On my entree, my chicken was overdone. This is extremely frustrating when in this time we are livingin, every dollar counts and I did not want to spend all that hard earned money on a disappointing meal. It will not be a returnvisit on our end. I hope they will try and make it right. Read more
