Came here with a friend, the view was nice and the food was pretty good as well. Sitting upstairs at night does allow the... aquarium display screen to blast your eyeballs out though, so be warned! We got the crawfish etouffe and quesadillas forappetizers. Maybe I don't know what etouffe is supposed to taste like but it was a little bitter. The quesadillas and dessertwere excellent though! Server took a while but might have just been because it was late. I enjoyed my time though! Read more

The food and the bartender are easily the highlight of this experience, well besides the great location. My immediate... recommendation would be to improve the experience at the hostess stand. The young lady was not welcoming at all. She looked atme and my friend, grabbed two sets of silverware and proceeded to walk towards the dining area. We weren't sure if we weresupposed to follow or wait until she returned. So she topped and looked back towards us and we too walked towards the diningarea. We sat in the bar area and that is when things took turn and in a good way. The bartender (who told me his name but Ihave since forgotten) was super personable and knowledgeable of the menu. His suggestions were spot on! We had the ChickenToluca and chicken tacos. Both were pretty amazing and seasoned to perfection. I'm definitely going back for the Chicken Toluca. Read more

Walked in and waited at the door for 5 minutes before even being approached by a worker. He told us we could go upstairs if we... wanted (we didn?t know there was an upstairs). So we went up and got seated. The ambiance is very nice and decorated. Our serverdidn?t come up until way later but he said there was a miscommunication between servers so no big deal. He was very kind andmade us feel welcome, but food and drinks did take a long time to come out, despite the restaurant being really empty at thetime we were there. And we plowed through our chips (which were a tad over salted) given we were hungry and he never checked onus for a refill until our food was out. Salsa was great though! We ordered and split the chicken fajitas, and a chili con quesoappetizer, which came with a plate of rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, and pico. Starting with the positives: thatfajita chicken is some of the best I?ve ever had. Juicy and flavorful- it?s a cut up breast. The onions were nice andseasoned/caramelized. Queso was good. However, the tortillas were a bit hard. The beans were way too seasoned. I don?t know howto describe it but it was just too much spice and not even in a hot/spicy way just overwhelming mix of flavors. The rice wasalso very salty. If you came here thinking it was going to taste like your local authentic Mexican, it?s not. There?s so manyflavors, which is a good thing, until they go overboard and add too much of it or over-salt. I?m not completely dissatisfiedwith our visit. It was our anniversary so I did have high expectations for the night, but I wouldn?t come back or recommend itto a friend, given the price point ($27 for fajitas and $8 for that small bowl of queso) Read more

Dos Bocas is awesome with great food and service. The restaurant has 2 levels, the ground floor is a full service bar with... limited menu. The upstairs section is the full service restaurant, also with a full bar. The main dining area has great viewsof Centennial Park and Aquarium. The food was nice, we ordered steak/shrimp fajitas. Recommend trying Dos Bocas. Read more

Awesome food. We found this place when walking and decided to try it out. They have a tex mex Cajun menu with complimentary... chips and salsa. We had the chicken enchilada and shrimp creole with a side of jambalaya. The portions were huge. The jambalayawas superb and full of flavor. They do not have a lot of seating and you might encounter a wait, but the food is well worth it.Highly recommend Read more
