We were in town for an industry show on a Monday night at 5:30 pm. This place was fine, but not outstanding. As this is a bar,... there were lots of (mostly) guys drinking beer. We liked the general atmosphere and decor. The music, which was 80’s hairbands, was too loud for our taste, especially with the loud talking. We had to yell at each other sitting in a booth. Theservice was fine. The beer selection was quite unimaginative. We each ordered a draft ($7 each) and then dinner. My husband gotthe Cobb salad, which he liked except there were too many onions. I got the fish and chips. The fish was wonderful,the”chips,” (French fries) barely worth eating. The tartar sauce was yummy; the coleslaw was too thick for my taste. Thebill before tip was $46. Went here after a long day of dragon con and were seated surprisingly quickly considering how busy the place was. It took an... average amount of time for our food to come out which was good considering how busy busy they were. The tavern burger was goodand fairly priced and the special dragon con menu was fun. Overall I give it 4 stars because nothing really wowed me butotherwise a great place to stop and grab a drink and some food. Read more
