The website is accurate when it declares: ?Beautiful books, smart wines, and thoughtful food.? Upon entering the beautiful and... modern space, you know you?re in for a special experience. The dining room was warm and welcoming, just like the service. Theyhave fun and interesting wines. I tried a unique Sauvignon Blanc and a Spanish white - both were very good. The crisp polentawas delicious. The only downside is that it comes atop a mound of aioli. I wish it had mentioned that on the menu as it wouldhave made a difference on n my ordering. The little gem salad was really fantastic. The lettuce was fresh with a perfectcrunch. The artichokes, salami and breadcrumbs were the perfect edition to the dish - salty, crunchy and delicious. The halibutwas spectacular- fresh, bright and flavorful. It was the star dish of the night for me. I will definitely be back to exploremore wines, dishes and books. It is on the pricey side, so it?s more of a special occasion or a night out restaurant. It livesup to its accolades. Read more
I went here for a friends birthday and I was blown away. I will be back! It was stellar service and the food is exquisite. I... thought the reviews were too good to be true, but I couldn?t be more wrong. As a vegetarian, I did not expect to have manyoptions. This place has plenty for you to choose from as a meat eater or veggie lover. I highly recommend the fries with theirseasonal sauce, the ricotta gnudi, and their rose panna cotta. It?s good food, books, and a variety of alcoholic beverages. Itcouldn?t be better! If you?re not a big drinker but want to try something: get the Yuzu sake and tonic.
