Fresh fresh fresh! Amazing everything?. food, service (Ellie) and atmosphere. Every bite was delectable. Don?t pass this place... without a stop! You won?t be disappointed. This is definitely a hidden gem! Found it on Yelp while exploring food options in Buford Hwy. I was skeptical when I saw the 5... star rating, but here I am giving it 5 stars. The food was delicious! We tried the salad, babaghanouj, hummus, couscous,ash-polo rice, falafel and the Libyan fish stew. Everything was excellent. The chef kindly made a vegan version of the couscousto accommodate my diet while my gf indulged her fish stew. The service was perfect. The waiter was attentive, courteous, andwith a great attitude. Let?s start with the most important ? the food! The food is AMAZING and Nur has the potential to be one of the best restaurants... in Atlanta. Truly. I have lived in both Turkey and Israel and am so grateful to have this food here. The chef is incrediblytalented. However, the service is incredibly awful. We were one of three tables and sat with our empty plates in front of usfor 20 minutes before we were able to get anyone?s attention. After that, it took even longer to get a box and our check. Wewanted to order dessert but could not risk another hour just sitting there. Please train your servers better because it is theonly thing getting in the way of this restaurant being amazing. This is not a staff shortage issue as there were more peopleworking than full tables. They all just hung out around the kitchen. The bathrooms needed a lot of attention too even though wewere the first ones there for dinner. With so much potential, I hope we can return in a few months to a totally differentatmosphere.
