Vegan menu: amazing. It's not easy to find this quality of vegan food in a place that serves meat. All the vegan options were... well thought and outside of the box, definitely not your usual "and one veggie taco for our vegan client". The service was fastand very friendly. This place was okay. I took my girlfriend here to celebrate her 25th birthday. I had reservations for 7:30p. We arrived on time... and we were seated within 2 minutes. Our server was good. For the appetizer we had the nachos grande with steak added which wasa great size for two people to share. For the entree, I had the Red Chile Salman and my girlfriend had the Tabasco TequilaShrimp. Food was good. As we were there, we barely heard background music. Felt kind of quiet. Maybe I expected more from itbeing that this was our first time there. I’m impressed with this place! We were looking for something to eat quickly after a bus as we had our basketball match started... in half an hour. Instead of choosing Subway sandwiches we went to his modern mexican restaurant. It was around 3 pm, not manypeople and we were served really quickly. Food is quite decent taking into consideration that we love mexican cuisine and triedit in many places. Service is outstanding! Looks very small from the outside, but it's actually pretty big because the restaurant is long rather than wide. Their decor is... also very nice and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Although I wasn't feeling incredibly hungry when I went here, their chips andsalsa as well as their wings certainly did the trick. They were super flavorful and the wings came with both buffalo sauce andblue cheese on the side which was good for controlling how much you want. The Mexican coke was also pretty good, but a littleexpensive which makes sense I guess if it's imported from Mexico, but I didn't like how their menu didn't have any classicCoca-Cola or Pepsi products because I'm someone who drinks a lot when I eat so I would have appreciated free refills on fountaindrinks rather than buying two $4 Mexican cokes, but not the biggest deal in the world. Going back to the food, I tried achicken taco from a family member as well and it was flavorful and definitely worth it (and this is coming from someone who haseaten Mexican food all over New York City). Will definitely return here the next time I'm back in Atlantic City. Read more
