I might give this place a second chance but it wasn't the best experience. The place was warm and cozy, well lit, and decorated... in vibrant tex mex restaurant style. But my waitress was way over worked to pay attention to my table. I think she had 12 tablesat once, and she wore it on her face. Fajitas are the standard i judge all tex mex restuarants by and they failed me. Even worsethat the fajitas came to me not sizzling, they were luke warm and cold before i could finish. Train your wait staff, if thefajitas aren't sizzling on their way out the kitchen, you have already failed. I did not receive succulent, large peices ofmeat. I got tiny little crumbles of chicken and beef, like the bottom of some marinade bag. I finished every last bit of themeat and had plenty of room for beans and rice. The flavors were good though. The waitress errored on my check and i had to takemore time to fix it. All and all below my expectations. Read more
Finally found a decent Mexican restaurant in our part of Maine! Been 3 times in a few weeks and enjoyed it each time. The cheese... dip is great with the chips and salsa. My boyfriend and I we ordered the el egave burritos and they were huge. We also ordered a pina colada and a banana virgincocktail.
