After spending several hours in the emergency room at Aurora Medical Center South we came to have supper at the IHOP on... Mississippi and Potomac. After about 10 minutes of waiting for service a close friend of mine went to the restroom having issueswith the tragic event we had just went through in the emergency room. We were interrupted by the low class security IHOP decidedto hire telling us our friend is still in the restroom which we knew. My wife went in to make sure our friend was okay and theyspent time talking. I over heard from the wait staff calling my wife and our friend crackheads and that they were probably inthe restroom doing crack that's why they are taking so long. Read more
Food was good and service was amazing. Our server was extremely friendly and took great care of us. The manager and host greeted... us warmly coming in and out. Restaurant cleanliness could have been a tad better, but we were there very late so it?s possiblewe caught the end of a long day. My dining experience here, at this particular location, is always amazing. They always remember who I am and if the place I like... to sit is available they pretty much just walk me to it. But they're very sweet people and my glass never has gone past halfempty. A coffee is nice and fresh as well. I definitely encourage the breakfast eaters to enjoy Saturday and Sunday morningbreakfast here with this group of awesome team players. Read more
The food was about average, but we had to wait a really long time for our food. The server kept apologizing to everyone that... they were under staffed and getting swamped by digital orders. If they can't handle the walk in customers they have they need toturn off digital orders until they get more staff. They shouldn't punish in person customers because they are swamped withdigital orders. Each restaurant should prioritize in person customers and only take on work they can handle. The company reallyneeds to look at the manager of this place and shut down digital orders. Horrible experience and only eat here if you want towait nearly an hour for food. The only reason we didn't leave is because my mom had just got out of the hospital and didn't havethe energy to go elsewhere. Restaurants need to know how much worse they can make a person's day.
