Would not let my wife and I shower since we do not have a CDL, is our money no good? Called to ask if we could sleep over night... in our car, the staff member that answered said yes. Arrived to see no overnight parking signs everywhere, that said we diddecide to stay and did not have an issue. Read more

We have stayed here multiple times. It's always a truck rodeo and always very crowded. But that's not the issue here. We usually... use the handicapped as I a have a placard ( husband drives) and there was a truck parked ( head first) in the spot. We had toreserve a spot to get closer. This truck did not have a placard displayed anywhere. He more than likely parked that way so thecab couldn't be seen. We told the manager and she reviewed the photos I took. Then they announced on the PA system the driverscompany etc. I told them this driver appeared to be sleeping and they needed to go out and move him. She assured me they'd dosomething. We had to get sleep and 5 hours later this guy was still there. How hard would it have been to send one employee outto check on this? I am appalled at the people that take these handicapp spots ' just to run in for a second' but long term??. Icannot drive due to my disability but travel with my husband. To top it off, we met one of the rudest employees that eveningwhen we went in after waking up. "Lisa" could not even manage to return our greeting and acted like it was a major hassle forher to wait on drivers. How hard would it be to smile? So that was the icing on the cake to this J. We'll probably return onlybecause trying to get in and out of the TA across the street is extremely difficult...(but the TA does tend to have better fuelcost and nice employees!) Read more

I tried to give the manager a very helpful suggestion and she basically laughed about it which I don't find it funny at all.... They said showers are closed due to no water. Last night I went passed their sign showers are closed and went into shower #5 Iseen the toilet had dirty water in it but I ran the sink and the water was clear. Si I brushed my teeth and took a nice hotshower. I walk in today to suggest to drivers take a shower if they want but the water is dirty. She claims there is no waterat all since 3 p.m yesterday. I went on to say I took a shower last night and there was nothing wrong with it. Basically insteadof just shutting down all showers investigate better and try to work with these drivers like me yesterday I drove 11 hours andneeded a shower bad so I was willing to take one even though the water was dirty. Instead it seems it is just easier to closethem and leave them like that and no concern for the drivers that are moving the freight around the world. Maybe the existenceof the "truck" stop got forgotten though. This morning I went across the street to the ta and their showers work finetoo. Something doesn't add up and it is basically taking advantage of the drivers like me that spend 12,000 dollars a month infuel and yet can't get a shower. Very disappointing to say the least! Really nice people inside and good selection of food better than the pilot down the road, however I had the shock of my life... when I entered the drivers lounge to find the paint from the wall literally peeling off before my eyes due to the horriblyoffensive odor from just one homeless who had set up camp, using the electricity and wifi. People waiting for showers stood inthe hallway to avoid the smell but it was to no avail, it carried for over 25 feet from where the homeless installeditself. Other than that it was great. Read more
