Hey Yall! So I forgot to take my photos before I mixed my food all together lol. I've seen this place on Google a few times and... finally decided to try it. I was greeted by a nice young lady. I ordered at the counter but asked if I could be seated because Ichanged my mind and wanted to dine in instead of to go. Even though I changed my mind, my food was still served in to gocontainers. I ordered the salmon with grits and cheese eggs. It was OK. I wasn't crazy about the seasoning on the salmon. Iwould say u get a pretty decent size piece of salmon for the price. It tasted like pink salmon or frozen versus the white wildcaught (not sure of the exact name of the salmon in describing). Anyway, it wasn't horrible though. It was cooked well justdidn't care for the seasoning. I also ordered a half n half sweet/unsweetened tea. The restaurant was not crowded. After beingseated it took me about 15 minutes to get my tea. Then it took about 30 minutes for my food. The wait was a little long but notdrastic considering things are prepared fresh. I will say....I like the atmosphere. It is a very laid back spot. Literally wow. We came here thinking it was a cute coffee shop, only to realize what a GIFT Cenacle Coffee and Bistro is to its... community. We were immediately greeted with smiles and kind words. We came in on a Sunday and knew we had to stay for the SoulFood Sunday Brunch. I think this is the best soul food I have ever had in my life.
