Really awesome service experience and very nice location! Great steak, salad, appetizer and drink options. WAY less crowded... and noisy than Capital Grille, Flemings, Trulucks, Eddie V's or Perry' Steakhouse. Read more
I’ll give Bob’s Steakhouse a solid 9/10 rating. Since I can’t do half stars, I’ll round down to 8/10. Jeffrey’s IMO is... the best steakhouse in Austin but Bob’s is good. The breakdown: - Cocktails are pretty good, but lacks some creativity. - Iwasn’t too keen on the scallops. Actually pretty disappointed. The bread was okay but lacked flavors. - The filet mignon wasgreat and so was the other fixings. - Had no complaints with the wait staff or anyone working there. Love this location! Not so crowded and the dim lights and spacious tables and booth make a lovely ambiance. The rooms are... quieter, which make it more intimate. I also like how the dividers between booths are tinted darker, making for a more elegantfeel. The market fish was delicious. My kids ordered a filet mignon and it came out just as ordered. Went out to share a joint birthday event with my neighbor last night. Must say, even after having been here before, the place... does not disappoint. We had 'Read' as our waiter, he was excellent at his job! In fact, the entire evening was excellentincluding drinks, first courses, mains and deserts. Our destination was the Barton Creek location.
