Fantastic intro to Austin barbecue. Brisket and turkey were great. The Mac n' cheese and green beans were out of this... world. You can grab drinks from the Corner Bar! Read more
I just moved to south Austin & been looking for the best BBQ in the area, since there are so many options. This was hands down... the best I've had since I've been here. All the meats were juicy, seasoned to perfection & good smokey flavor but not overpowering. The sides were delicious too, & the banana pudding. Good portions and reasonably priced. Absolutely phenomenal brisket. Some of the very best in Austin. Don't sleep on Brown's! Very fast and friendly as well.
Lovely little food truck with a good selection of bbq and sides. I went at around noon on a Thursday and there was no line!... Ordered a bit of a sampler- brisket, pork rib, beef sausage, potato salad, stewed cabbage, and banana pudding. The brisket andpotato salad were my favorites. They also gave me a bit of both bbq sauces, one sweet (too sweet for my taste) and one tangy(this was awesome). The pudding was too whipped-creamy for my taste but I still managed to finish it :) Service was lovely,friendly and fast. I ate at the benches next to the truck and got a lid for my leftovers to take home. Decent number of parkingspots right next to the truck, the other truck and shop next to Browns were closed when I went so I didn?t have any issuesfinding a spot. Congrats on 10 years Brown?s!
