Lovely sunsets!! I went around 6 pm, parking is easy to get, got a table without much wait. Although I would prefer something... close to a fan, as it got hotter a little later. Staff is very friendly, gave some good recommendations. I tried their friedavocado ( very nice), shrimp tacos and chicken fajitas. Had dinner here last night for a little celebration and we were NOT disappointed! The food was incredible ???? unique and fresh... flavors, prepared to perfection. New Head Chef Poc all made us feel welcome and appreciated. This gargantuan steak was one ofthe best I've ever had! Can't wait to explore more of the menu. Been going here for few years (I live in Steiner). Just had the most horrible experience with one of the new hired waitresses.... She disrespected me, yelled at me and when I asked for refund and to speak with manager she refused and said she’s themanager. The moment was saved by one of her colleague waitresses who called the manager/boss & they processed the refund. Theproblem tho is not about refunding me. I love good sushi and I love paying high dollar for it. But I don’t understand howmanagement allow such low class worker into their ranks. She lied and said she’s the manager. She refused to tell us her name.She barely speaks English. This is horrible. And her coworker said this is not the first time she had confrontation withclients as well as co-workers. I don’t understand. What is management thinking. And you know what this all started over? Hergiving me such hard time that I asked for her eel sauce and spicy Mayo. Stopped in for dinner last night while in town. We the chirashi, king salmon ceviche, katsu chicken, and a bottle of Wandering... Poet sake. The service was great and the food wasn’t bad. The chirashi was sliced thinner than most places and the tunawasn’t bad but not super fresh (you can see the color and breakage/deterioration of flesh in picture). They were out of KingSalmon and I approved a replacement with the lower grade salmon used in Sake nigiri. For me (everyone has different taste) themix of ingredients didn’t work and perhaps the fattier King Salmon would have completed the mix, such as the truffle oil,better. The katsu chicken was good and came atop a nice bed of mixed vegetables. Sauce on the side would have been better inserving style so breading doesn’t get soggy. I really enjoyed the location, the cuisine, and the oysters. All of the food I tried—oysters, calamari, and the blue cheese... burger—was excellent. The staff was really polite and attentive.
