Came here on my last night in Austin. Turned out to be a great choice. Nice atmosphere and we sat outside. Our camarera... was super nice. She made sure we had everything we wanted. All the food was very good at a very reasonable price. I'lldefinitely recommend and come back next time I am in Austin. Read more
This is currently my very favorite taco spot in Austin. The outdoor patio is charming even with the small amount of seating they... have, and the inside is equally as interesting with tons of art and a gorgeous bar in the back of the restaurant. The black beanquesadilla is to die for, and I crave this all the time. Their classic margaritas are also excellent! I do wish they offeredmore side dishes, like a side of rice, vegetarian beans or side salad. This restaurant basically only sells tacos and beverages,but I would probably come twice as often if they served actual plates of food like enchiladas or something. Read more
Nice place. Host was very accommodating. First sat in the bar area......bartender was nice but disappeared often.....then... noticed he was also serving tables. I didn't order much food but had chips and salsa which was $2.50. In Texas we are used tofee chips and salsa......just saying. The salsas weren't hot at all....they were also sort of just plain. Looked good though. I'm used to Caliente! Or at least a kick to it. Then ordered a fried black bean and cheese quesdilla. The quesdilla was verygood and different from what I'm used to. The cheese was on point. Very recommended, must try. We ended up moving outside tothe patio area which was nice. Julia out waiter was on point. I will go back to try more of their dishes. Great Mexican food spot on the east side of Austin. Inside and outside areas, full bar, with the blue corn tortillas which... are so good. Happy hour is great! The food is good and drinks are cold. 4 stars because service was pretty trash. We saw theservers huddle, didn't get served till about 10 min in. Read more
