I was excited to try this place due to reviews but it was just okay. I got the BBQ pork and roast duck. The pork had a nice... flavor but a lot of the fatty parts of it were inedible and had to be eaten around or spit out. The duck was pretty dry anddidn’t have much flavor. The fat was rendered done to nothing which kind of defeats the purpose of eating duck. The rice wasgood as was the tea but my friend and I waited about 15 minutes for a server to come take our order. I struggle to find good Cantonese food but this place has pretty decent Chinese BBQ! I really like their roast pork but I am... not a fan of their roast duck. I've gotten it a few times and the duck itself just tasted awful. The seasonings were all therebut the quality of the meat was off. I ended up throwing it out. The best Beijing duck I had so far in Austin, their menu is big and have so many options. They also have some Americanized... Chinese dishes if you have any sissy friends who don’t want authentic Chinese food. The tofu dish with salt was out of thisworld, the spinach was below average and the shrimp with broccoli is Americanized so I didn’t like it but my wife did. Read more
