If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The sushi is fresh. The sashimi and nigiri were so delicious! The classic rolls... like the rainbow and the eel rolls are also great! I would recommend this place id you like fresh sashimi and nigiri. The sushichefs are wonderful to chat with, and they're friendly. I watched them make the waygu tartare nigiri, and I ordered one. Itfilled my entire palate with umami flavor. I would come back here again, and maybe try the love boat next time because we sawone beautifully made. Read more
It's been 5 years since our last visit. Four of us went tonight for late night dinner after long meeting, and all we wanted was... sushi and something that we can enjoy. Overall the sashimi sampler and sushi quality was great, California Uni was fresh andsweet. The reason I took one star off, was because our waiter seems to be in his bad mood day, so he wasn't quite friendly whentaking our order, which that didn't really bother us too much, only hope he can learn to leave his bad days out ofwork. Came to IchiUmi since it was very close to the hotel we were staying at. It was super busy. Restaurant has a nice ambience and... it was clean. Food was good, but the Karaage chicken lacked flavor. The waiter had forgotten to put that order in. We remindedhim and after trying it, we could have definitely skipped it. It was an average experience so I give it a 3 star. Read more

Family was craving sushi and Ichiumi was a place I’ve been wanting to try. The reviews are good and the sushi looks good... quality. Arrived Saturday around 5:30pm, there was quite a bit of people. We ordered takoyaki and calamari appetizer, and we gotthe ume platter (3 special rolls and 20 nigiri and it came with tofu and edamame appetizers), and we also got the Hamburg steakand donkatsu over rice. Everything was so good, the tofu was amazing—crunchy and soft in inside, edamame was roasted in somegarlic oil, sushi was beautifully made and was fresh, takoyaki was big, the KATSU was SO GOOD. My family enjoyed everythingthere. The ambiance was wonderful, it has date nights vibes as well, nice lighting and soft music. The place was packed by thetime we were leaving at 6:30pm.
