A cute little sushi place with a super nice wait staff.
Recently I visited Izumi Sushi in the Westlake Hills neighborhood of Austin, Texas for dinner at 6pm on a Wednesday. The place... was packed - I got the last table for two; although, by 7pm many of the customers had cleared out. The menu is extensive andincludes traditional sushi fare along with some specials, like the Longhorn roll. The Longhorn roll containts Shrimp tempura,yamagobo, cucumber, spicy white fish, topped with tempura flakes, spicy mayo, eel sauce & masago and is actually shaped like theTexas Longhorns logo! Additionally, it is DELICIOUS. Definitely the highlight of the meal for me. There is plenty of freeparking in the shopping complex, which also includes the Westlake HEB, Chick-Fil-A and P Terry's.
