The short report: The food was amazing. I?m not sure what took me so long to try this place. We had the torta of the month ?La... Milanesa?, La Plancha burger, papas fritas, chips and salsa, and we couldn?t forget the churros!! They care about flavor and itcomes across in everything. Visiting from Dallas and was looking for a place to try out Austin?s best Tex-Mex . This place is where you get authentic... Mexican street food but with a modern touch and using high quality ingredients. I went there with my wife and we ordered theirfamous fries which are tossed with cohita cheese and served with 2 dips , the Fries came out hot and crunchy , the street cornwas very good they mixed the corn with their queso and topped with cojita cheese and hot Cheetos ! That was cool , theirsignature queso was served with freshly fried chips and we finished that before the main entrees arrived . Since we were 2 weordered 2 tostadas and shared them . The BARBACOA brisket and the hit friend chicken were both great but as a beef lover I wouldprefer the BARBACOA if I can only order 1. The meat was very tender and they topped with the right toppings to balance out thebread and meat . Getting the barbacoa quesadillas is a must try if you love meat and cheese and the tortillas gets crispy . Lastbut not least the churros came out out sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon and with a side of their homemade caramel sauce .
