This was an absolute incredible culinary experience! Every single dish was carefully created from scratch and the plates were... delicious. The crawfish entree was the most flavor filled divine food creation I’ve ever put in my mouth. Kudos to the teamand hats off to the chef. This is on my top three favorite austin restaurants. We had dinner at Lenoir and found the restaurant decor to be crisp and modern. (We were seated in the main dining room). In... addition to the tables, they have nice bar seating that you can reserve. The service was excellent! Our waiter was friendlyand had a very calming demeanor. He was able to walk us through the menu, describing each dish in detail, while helping usnavigate a diary allergy. He worked with the kitchen to ensure our meal choices were safe. Very comforting. The dishes weretasty, but we felt some -- blistered peppers, crab fingers, and the grilled & chilled summer squash -- were overly dressed withthe sauces. The star of the night was the beef wantons! So good that we ordered a second dish. We also enjoyed the pullmanbread and honey crisp apple salad. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. Lenoir continues to be a favorite for my boyfriend and I for so many reasons. First, the service has been nothing but stellar... each time we've gone. The servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the wine list as well as the menu (Erica wasour server last night). Second, the atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Since we last went, they've remodeled the maindining room by removing some tables which, in my opinion, was a great idea. Third, the food is always top notch. Their menunever ceases to impress. Extremely fun tasting experience and ambiance! Good: Fun tasting menu with extremely good food - I got a table on Resy so it... was really easy to get seated. They had a really good 4 course menu and at the end we were stuffed. My favorite course was thepasta one since it was just solid pasta and had a great taste. But really all the dishes were so unique and enjoyed having awatermelon cocktail as well to help keep the palette clean. With 3 people you usually share 2 plates of the food so it's prettyworth it! It was also our birthdays so then we got two slices of cake with candles in them at the end and also cute birthdaycards with coupons so it just felt really personal of an experience. Bad: There was this misting machine that sprayed usconstantly which was great for keeping warm but also immediately blew our our candle which made me sad. Great great vibes here! The outdoor seating was perfect for a date night. The wine pairing was spot on. I highly suggest the... tasting menu. Most of the dishes had a hint of spice and the menu was heavy in harissa and harissa adjacent flavors. I’d saythe portions were perfect for us. The price was reasonable compared to other places as well. Definitely give this place a look! Read more
