Big menu. Lots of items and variety. So far good dosa. Biryani sometimes it tastes authentic. Sometimes on takeout it might be... different and not authentic. Read more

We had the very special Dindigul Thalappakatti Mutton Biryani, Medhu Vada, Masala Dosa, Chole Bhature and Chai. The owner said... that the biryani was very special and wasn’t available in any other Indian restaurants in around Texas. The biryani wassupposed to have short grain rice which is very unusual for biryani. We tried it and absolutely loved it. It sure was a veryunique biryani indeed. The Raita itself was good and fresh. Similarly we loved the Medhu Vada and the Chole Bhature as well. The food at this restaurant is very fresh that’s the reason why it tastes so good. The Medhu Vada and Bhatura was so veryfresh and tender, homemade style. I’d say that the Chai could taste better but since it was complimentary, I wouldn’tcomplain. Another point of improvement could be bhatura. Although I loved it but it was slightly oily(I understand it is deepfried). The server wasn’t the most energetic because when we asked to dine outside he hesitated but the owner was verywelcoming. She asked us if we wanted to dine at the patio and accommodated that right away. She also gave us a complimentarydessert. I will definitely be back again. Read more

I went here yesterday night after being hangry????due to a good workout & not eating too much, but if you’re looking for a... good genuine and closely authentic south Indian food then Nalas is for you. Also, shout out to the amazing waiter Moin forhaving stellar customer service. So let’s get into the food, I had a scrumptious and amazing Vegetarian dish called MysoreMasala Dosa as you can see in the pic below which is Rice Crêpe with flavorful Mysore Chutney with potato ???? masala. ???? Ialso had Mutton soup if you like some goat ???????? Send Moin my regard & enjoy some South Indian food. Read more

Nala's is AMAZING!!! I grew up in South India (Andhra/Hyderabad) and I think the dishes here come super duper close to the food... in India!!! My friend and I tried the gobi manchurian, idli and vada sambar, and samosas for appetizers. We then got chicken andmutton biryani to go, and had gulab jamun for dessert! The cauliflower was an absolute wonder! The biryanis are not picturedhere but they were spot on in terms of flavors (the meat was nice and tender and came right off the bone), and eating the gulabjamun and syrup felt like eating in heaven! It was such a wonderful experience and we'll definitely be back! Read more
