I live right by this truck and it?s been my go to for delicious sandwiches that remain fair priced and consistently good. I?ve... tried almost every sandwich on the menu but my favorite is the Italian. Try it with spicy relish!! The guys who work there arealways incredibly nice and give a treat to my dog whenever I come by. I?ve never seen them skimp on meat (see photo) or veggiesand the sandwiches are always filling and delicious with very fresh ingredients! The best deal in town as the sandwiches areonly $10 each and can be made into wraps upon request. Definitely stop by and give them a try! Read more

I really want to like Papi\'s. There are *a lot* of very enthusiastic reviews here, so chances are I just got unlucky; that... said, my experience did not live up to the hype. I ordered the Italian at 2:30pm on a Thursday?Manny was super friendly andthrew in a side of relish for me to try. I\'m really glad he did because it was tasty and saved an otherwise depressingly drysandwich. I, too, am from the Midwest and appreciate a good hoagie. My sandwich was not a good hoagie. If you\'re going to makea sandwich 50% bread (see pics, mine was), it cannot leave your mouth dry after every bite (mine did). It kills me, because Ireally want to like this place. Food trucks are a brutal game. Read more

This place is awesome! The sandwich was huge and reasonably priced. I ordered the Italian dressed and it was fantastic.... Literally the best sandwich I?ve had all year. They?re right across the street from Outer Heaven Disco Club so I?ll definitelybe coming back. Love Papis Read more

Tacos! That\'s what comes to mind when visiting Texas. Your taste buds can be easily satisfied with breakfast tacos...lunch... tacos...dinner tacos. Snack tacos anyone? By my 3rd day in Texas, I was in search of something other than tacos (sorry Texans).Growing up near Philadelphia, I was pleasantly surprised when I happened upon Papi\'s Food Truck. Papi\'s has brought authenticPhiladelphia-style hoagies to Texas. Not being able to decide, my daughter and I chose the Summer Ready and the SustainableSammie which allowed us to taste two of the menu options. We were more than pleasantly surprised. From the freshness of thebread and wraps to the high quality of the meats to the condiments that paired so well with each sandwich, the quality and tastewere outstanding. If all this wasn\'t enough of a positive experience, the owner of the food truck was so friendly andapproachable and took a few moments to come out to the table and talk to us. I definitely recommend a visit to Papi\'s. You willlikely want to return again, and again. Texas tacos? Absolutely! Texas hoagies (Philadelphia style)? You bet! Read more

Wow. Just Wow. Do yourself a favor and check out Papi\'s Food Truck. I\'m a Midwesterner sandwich slob (MSS) and let me tell... you, from the quality of the meats to the made to order dressings, this place just nails it. Super easy access and large parkinglot with comfortable shaded tables to enjoy the gloriousness. Located at the intersection of 12th street & Chicon. By farAustin\'s best deli sandwiches.
