My first time coming, came here for the weekend from Houston for my girl bday! The food was good everything I had was hitting,... service was slow though but every one was nice!! Im willing to come back again! Edit: The platter comes with 2 wings and I gota flavor and ordered a to go. I asked why its a dollar higher for each food item from what the menu says; she said the kitchensays its a dollar extra for sauce. There was no where on the menu that said sauce was extra or nor did they say it was extraverbally. So its like I'm paying extra $2 for sauce that wasn't stated. Yes its only $2 I don't care if is .50 it needs to besaid. Also my to go order was wrong had to get it fixed. Also the restroom wasnt that clean. And the condiment holders (hotsauce, syrup, ketchup) was sticky. The food was good though. Read more
I rate this restaurant a 4?. due to the quality and Taste of Food. If you take the food out of the equation it's a 2?. But... improvements could be made. The chicken here is seasoned perfect and the sauce is spicy ???? and good. The waffles andeverything is great. The acholic beverages for consistency could be worked on. First round was a perfect balance. The secondround was heavy poured. The sanitary of the place could be worked on. The tables are sticky with food not wiped off, and notvery clean before you're seated. Asking for extra sauces seemed rushed you will get back a sauce covered container. This place was amazing from customer service, to the drinks and I haven?t even got to the food yet???????? the best I?ve had in... all of Austin soul food! Mmm, chicken and waffles. ???? The waffle was perfectly cooked and the chicken was crispy. We got a half buttermilk half red... velvet waffle and it was great, but the difference between the two flavors was hardly noticeable. Would absolutely go back, been looking for a great chicken tender place in this town for so long. When I arrived, I was greeted... with friendly servers and smiling faces at the counter. Place smells great, like fresh fry oil. I had looked at the menu aheadof time and was ready to order. I said I was excited to try the tenders and had been looking for a place and had a response of,?oh, honey, you FOUND it!? I ordered and was told it would be ten to 15 minutes. Agreed because who doesn?t want their foodfresh?! It arrived within 10 minutes and I asked what dips they had. ?We got hot sauce, that what most people ask for.? I askedif they had ranch, and that was yes, too. So with my 6-piece tender order (+2 sides), I got two hot sauces and two ranch with myorder. Took me 10 mins to get home and it was so beautifully packed to preserve the food?s flavor and texture. The tenders werecrispy and fresh, delicious with a thin crust. The onion rings were hand battered and really good. Waffle fries were alsooutstanding. 10/10, 5* or whatever metric you want to use, we will absolutely be going back.
