Veracruz is a staple for Austinites, they have several food trucks around town and a brick and mortar downtown. Their menu has... options for vegetarians and being a newbie vegetarian gal myself, I appreciated the fact that they had 3 vegetarian tacos on themenu. Super fresh quality ingredients with amazing homemade salsas, I devoured the tacos I ordered. Highly recommend, you can'tgo wrong with them! Read more

A marvel and a jewel. They make their own corn tortillas and chips. The best shrimp tacos I?ve ever had?& I?m not a shrimp guy.... The vegan queso is a revelation. My only suggestion: they use canola oil, which is neither Mexican (only from Canada) nornatural (rapeseed oil is only edible via chemical treatment). But I love these folks & their places! Read more
