Used to be the best. Been going here (original location) for at least a decade. (I remember the first owner who was a New Yorker... through and through) But these days they are so Inconsistent on their hot bagel sandwiches. Sometimes they are amazing, othertimes it?s not prepared to our online order specifications or sloppy. Today the bacon was basically raw. It was still white andclear it was so uncooked on both my and my husbands bagel. We couldn?t eat it. They cancelled the order, which I think meansI?ll get a refund?, not sure. But WHOLY disappointed in this place. We will probably give it one more try, but today might havebeen the last time. (Far West location is more consistent and better so maybe that?s where we need to make sure we are going).You just can?t serve raw meat y?all. Note - bagels themselves are great. Man I love this place. Everything bagel with garlic herb schmear? Yes please. Pork roll with egg and cheese on egg bagel? I'll... have three, please. Their spread choices are really well done. Lox spread, loaded baked potato, and the Texas spread (I can'teat anything spicy anymore) look fantastic. The proprietors are pretty cool too. Read more
This is a must for any and all Austinites! The selection of different bagel types alone, is worth the visit! Not to mention all... of the delicious toppings you can add including the Angry Texan Cream Cheese! The breakfast bagel hits the spot every time andnever ever disappoints! Absolutely a new favorite for me and a staple about 2-3 times a week before my early morning shifts!Cannot recommend enough! Read more

We usually get the lox and a bacon-egg-cheese bagel. They'recooking the hot bagel sandwiches on the spot, so on the weekend order ahead or be prepared to wait some at peak hours. It's soworth the wait though. Delicious fried eggs, CRISPY bacon and gooey cheddar cheese. They do not take bacon for granted andthat's part of their secret sauce here.
