Dinner here was great as always! Michael, our server, remembered us from the last time we were there. He was excellent as always... and gave us amazing drink & meal recommendations! The Ahi Tuna salad was delicious and the raspberry coconut margarita was myfavorite alcoholic beverage I've ever had there. Definitely worth it! Very sad to know this location will be closing next year, but just enough time to make it back another time or two. :) Read more

Stopped in for dinner as this was with walking distance of our Air BnB. Food did not disappoint. Wife's frozen margarita was... partially frozen but it was good and so was my mojito. Wife has the pork & chorizo meatloaf and I had the chicken dish off thesummer menu. Both were well seasoned with just the right amount of heat to give it a great flavor. We'll definitely go back. Great atmosphere and cocktails. Service was very quick and waiters were super nice. Our meals themselves were a little... disappointing. Nothing was bad, but the salmon was too bland for my liking. The guac and chips was more memorable. But wouldprobably return to try other items on the menu. Read more

Great experience here. We had a large party and we had a private room with a bartender and servers for a buffet style dinner.... The team did a fabulous job, were friendly and handled our large group with grace. The food was great - started with salsa andQueso bar and then we had an assortment of Tex mex, enchiladas, and build your own tacos. Loved it! Read more

My overall experience at Z’Tejas was very underwhelming. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and my... mimosa but that was about it. Even as our area started to clear out, service was incredibly slow for us to the point where Inoticed that tables that sat down after us were receiving food before we were. After giving our drink order, we were told thatcornbread would be out to our table soon: never even saw that cornbread. We sipped on our drinks for close to an hour before ourentrees came out. My boyfriend had to get a new plate of tacos because they came cold and had obviously been sitting out. I hadthe Chrorizo Migas and I liked the presentation, but for how many ingredients were in it…it was pretty bland. I ate a coupleof bites and decided that I would take it home to season, reheat and eat later. There has been a lot of hype aroundZ’Tejas…and for me, they didn’t live up to that this time around. I do want to come back during a less busy hour and trysomething different! Update: Both my boyfriend and I were given an email to talk to management about our experience and forthem to “make it right” I’m sure that’s JUST for aesthetics to make them look better on review platforms because no onehas bothered to reply to both of our emails. Either that, or they’re always “busy” and need better time management skills.I don’t think there’s a need to give Z’Tejas another chance, plenty of other places with better food and definitely bettercustomer service skills ????
