So on my visit to Panera in Avon recently I will say the food was OK. The flatbread pizza was really good but the Mac and cheese... was barely warm. We still ate it as it is usually hot and just felt that maybe Panera was a little off that day. We decided tomove tables mid way through our meal due to people near us and their language so we moved over by the glass windows close to thebakery counter. I watched as a table sat dirty and full of food and dirty dishes for over 45 minutes. Yet, several employeesjust walked by it when they were over by the beverage fountain. Finally at the end of our meal I saw am employee coming near thetable in hopes that they would clean up this mess, yet they stood there looked at it again and just walked away. The whole timeI was there I never saw anyone clean a table only refill the ice tea and iced coffee container. The employees I did see seemedmore into themselves then their customers. But... there was one young man who stood out from among all the other employees andhis name ( I asked) is Sam. This young man was polite, helpful in making our decisions, suggesting items and answered ourquestions all the while smiling. If there is a way to reward him, that would be great. Sam is actually the only one in thebakery section who smiled. He looks like he enjoys working and we will go back to see him again. Hopefully the Mac and cheesewill be hot next time though. Not a good experience. Stood in line for kiosk that don't work ? A few people left as I got to the kiosk that did work. Made my... order and VVVVWALAA... Overcharge and then it's asking for a tip without human service? Wait, you clean off your own table andstill pay over $14.00 for half sandwich and cold broccoli soup ? Never to return to any Panera Bread Anywhere. It was a greatplace to stop in and quick bite back in 2019. Read more
Haven't been to a Panera in a very long time. No I remember why, subpar food and horrible service. Half grilled cheese n tomato... soup 13.26$ definitely not worth the price. As for the changes to the establishment with placing your own order...not havingsomeone greet me and take my order??? Not to mention two of the three kiosk were not working causing a line, and frustrationamongst the patrons. Next over hiring two of the bakery associates dropping the f- bomb because neither one wanted to do theirjob. Shameful to say the least. I will definitely NOT recommend nor be returning. They did not have wheelchair assesibleentrance, they do not clean tables in between patrons. Patrons bus their own tables. Read more
Order took 20 minutes to make, just a pic two- sandwich and soup and a kid Mac and cheese. Nobody else was ordering or waiting... on food. Made my one sandwich wrong, when I stated no meat, the manager looked annoyed. Sandwich was remade, but she expected meto keep the soup that had been out for over 20 mins at that point. I had to address that the soup was cold and request a newone. I seem to always have issues at this location with food made incorrect or food missing. Read more

Prices are very high and portions are very small. Food was good but grossly overpriced for what they?re offering. I think people... have forgotten the idea about when it?s appropriate to tip or ask for a gratuity. Panera is not the place to be asking for tips.It?s just not. I?m upset that they even suggest me leave one. Then, wait for it, they want you to tip them when you cash out.Ummm, no! There are no server?s cleaning up after me and refilling my drinks etc and I have to scrape my own plates into theseenvironmentally friendly waste receptacles all by myself. Good food, but tone it down a bit and offer reasonable portions. Mymother order the tuna salad, literally 2 tablespoons of tuna salad on a big piece of bread. Com?on!
