Took 11 minutes after we got there to get them to answer the red button. Took another 5 to order 2 drinks. During happy hour I... must add. I work in retail as an assistant manager. I know firsthand how it is being busy. There is no sense of urgency herewhatsoever Read more
The only complaint i have about this location and every other location is the tea is served for too long after being made and... they do not properly clean the tea or coffee decanters. So they both taste bitter and stale. Most of their employees areawesome. I do wish only senior employees and managers were allowed to take orders or there was an option to just order from thescreen without having to repeat a simple order over and over knowing it will be wrong. Mobile app was down. No problem. We pressed the red button at the stall we were at. Waited 5 minutes or so. Went off. Tried... again. Button deactivated after so long. We assumed the stall must be down. Moved stalls. Same thing. Spent a total of 20minutes waiting between the two. I called in to see if there was an issue. Met with very unpleasant assistance. Was asked ?sowhat do you need?? To which I replied to place an order, and suddenly someone appeared on the speaker. We were picking up icecream for grandparents and kiddos. Came in at 10 am ordered number 17 with large drink, 2 grilled cheese sandwich's, and your ultimate burrito meal. The lady that... took my order was very Short with me. I'm guessing because I had tryed to order a burger and the grill was not workingcorrectly, so I told her I would re order when I figured out what I wanted. Normally this Sonic is great HOWEVER not on 9/27/2022! I placed an app order, it was received, payment made. We thought we... were super late picking it up. When we got there my wife pushed the button (my Bluetooth was messing up) and a young maleteenager didn?t ?clock us in? so we pressed the button again and a young lady clocked us in. A total of 3 times pressing theorder button. Our ordered ticket 791, wasn?t even started. We were there for almost 20 mins (30 minutes after my order). Mywife talked with work the manager on duty. I understand people have bad days or system issues; however the manager gave noapology or valid reason for the mix up. We are not after a free meal or gift card.
