Wasn?t as good as I remember. But service was great regardless! Waitress was perfect! She was kind and got our orders to the T!
Mom and I had a late lunch here today and we had the best waitress I've ever had. Her name was Madison. She was absolutely... amazing. So sweet and cheerful. Was absolutely attentive to all our needs even before we knew we needed them. Lol. I was at Best Buy and seen the sign for 'Original Roadhouse'. Decided to go and I am glad I did. They make very slightly sweet... lemon aid. Not to sweet and definitely not bitter. There are jalapeno/cheese stuffed egg rolls with a sweet sauce that arespicy/sweet and very good. The appetizers continue with a bowl of chili topped with cheese and onions. Then come the GarlicFries inside a shiny steel cup wrapped in paper. Finally the BBQ Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs. Melt in your mouth good. The meatwas so tender I pulled the ribs apart with my fingers. Sooooo Goooood. The only bad thing about The Original Roadhouse is theprice of the food. It is expensive. With the tip I paid $58 for one person. I highly recommend this restaurant just expect topay for the great food. As a bonus, there is a electronic game at the table you can play. It costs $1.99. My friend and I have met here frequently over the past year and always sit in the bar area. We don?t order anything special,... just beer and a chicken salad. Today our server was great, and attentive, but typically it?s sub par. What hit me right awaywhen entering the facility today was the disgusting smell of the bathroom. My friend and I smelled it right away when we enteredthe restaurant. The bathroom has always smelled like sewer, but this was the first time we could smell it when entering therestaurant. Before we left we made the mistake of using the bathroom. The smell was HORRIBLE! It smells like the sewer is backedup. A port-a-potty smells better than this place. I don?t understand how this is even considered up to code. Nor do I understandhow anyone can stomach sitting anywhere near the restrooms (in the dining area), because we were all the way in the bar andcould still smell it. ???? It?s absolutely foul!! The water tasted terrible, 1 sip and gag. Food was good but felt the rib not cooked enough, didn't fall off bone had hard time... separating from each other.
