We had lunch there with a limited menu on a Monday. The 1 lbs shrimp was excellent. The butter sauce was okay but the cocktail... sauce was excellent! The Nashville hot chicken was designed by someone whose never been to Nashville and had the hot chicken. Not close to the worst I've had that would be in California. Read more

The... chef came out to talk to me about the allergy and advise me on what he could make me! The bartender was nice to give us water as we waited for them to open. The staff were all so nice! The grey goose bloody Mary... hit the spot. The green tomato and pimento cheese blt was beyond delicious. Overall a perfect lunch spot! Read more

So most people who have been coming to Bald Head Island know that JSG&IP is the third incarnation of this restaurant. It is in a... prime location in the Bald Head Island marina, has a good menu with rotating options, provides great views from outside and theoverlook tower, and continues to hire the best servers on the island! Many people complain about the lack of staff, the highprices, and crowds in the summer. Here's a tip: it is the best on the island, so order another beverage and relax! We enjoycoming here in the off-season and have always had excellent service from the staff, as well as good food and drinks. We expectto pay more because we're on vacation, on an island, with a beautiful view, with far fewer people than any other place thisbeautiful!! In our party were 4 adults and a 7-year old. Our meals were great. So...don't worry about the price, focus on yourexperience! This was our best on the island. Read more
