This ?WOULD? be a GREAT place for a Cajun restaurant! Cajun food is my absolute favorite food and ballground is close to my... house. Well I keep going back from time to time expecting different results. (The definition of insanity). Well today was nodifferent. Ordered 5 items to go and i was only able to eat 2 of them. The gumbo was good and the catfish was ediable but thewings were dry as can be and burnt. They had an AWESOME tasting fry rub tho. French fries were burn beyond belief along with thechicken tenders. Completely inedible! The sweet tea was good tho. I initially ask for jambalaya, Boudin, peel and eat shrimp, low country boil and crawfish pie. They had none of the above. I?ve never been to a ?CAJUN? restaurant that didn?t serve thepreviously mentioned items. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the fact the waitress said ?quite proudly ? that we areunder new ownership/management! So I was obviously ecstatic. Well??.. no improvement. Not a single employee was wearing ?LesBon Temp? shirts. I couldn?t tell who worked there or not. Everyone wore random tee shirts like a Billy Joel tee, the manager orowner was wearing a baseball shirt, my waitress wore something silly but the Crème de la crème was the young teenager cookingthe food wore a, ?Dominic's?, shirt of another restaurant a few doors down. Every time I come home with their food my wifelaughs and ask why I keep ordering again. Apparently I say the exact same thing everything. I don?t know. Well this time is it!I?m not gonna waist $60 on food I can?t eat. Please go next door at the German place! They ACTUALLY have boudin! Weird huh. Thepics is burnt fry?s, catfish and chicken wings. A great dinner experience if you want good food. The food was great and the service was friendly. The restaurant is not fancy... at all (kind of run down), but that's part of the charm. Not overly expensive. Read more

Google food and excellent service. Casual ambiance and very reasonable price point. We had the burger (huge) and fries and the... cat fish poor boy (a little skimpy on the fillet) but very tasty breading. Will be back. Read more

The service was very nice. Sadly that was the only pleasant thing about our visit. This restaurant was a bit ?run down? and... could have used a good cleaning. My wife?s shrimps and grits tasted burnt and my crawfish etouffee was watery with littleflavor. We chose this place because of the great reviews so maybe today was just a bad day. We?ll come back and try somethingelse. Everyone deserves a second chance right? Read more
